OCR: Trek Instructions Movement & Attacking Warping (moving in LR) uses considerable amounts of energy, and even more if your shields are up. When you want to change quadrants in LR mode just click where you want to go and #FOOF# you're there (if you have the energy). Impulse (moving in SR) is similar except you ship is prevented from moving into other obstacles. Click in any empty square and you will move towards it. NOTE: The path is calculated ... DON'T assume you can make it or you may get zapped. To attack simply click on your target and the current weapon will fire (at ANTTHING). Weapons . Phasers draw their power from your general energy supply at a rate of 2 phaser units for each general supplied. Phasers are set by the scroll bar up to 1000 phaser units. Phasers may pass through other objects, but get weaker with range. . Photons deliver a powerful punch at any range, but must travel to their targets. Photons will detonate against the first solid object encountered. Note: Photons, like your ship in SR, do not always travel like you expect or want them to, so be careful. . Plasma Projection Cannon is both the most versatile and unpredictable weapon. It can pass through objects, and can deliver a powerful strike at range; however, the PPC may short out and have to be repaired at a base. Higher levels have greater availability of PPC parts.
